There were emotional scenes at Belfast International Airport’s Lagan Bar this morning when the first holidaymaker in six long months uploaded a photo of a WKD Blue bottle to Facebook.
Dundonald woman Helen McMelter announced she was jetting off on her jollies this morning by checking-in at the extortionately priced bar on Facebook and uploading the pic of a WKD Blue along with the caption: “And so it begins”.
The Lagan Bar Facebook check-in has become an integral part of the Northern Irish holiday experience in recent times with travellers alerting their social media followers and operational house-breakers to their imminent departure.
The bar had been closed for six months as a result of the Bill Gates orchestrated 5G activated ‘plandemic’.
However, it reopened at 6am this morning with the airport now offering flights to exotic destinations such as Bournemouth and Inverness.
Helen was first in line when bar’s shutters went up and the former Herbalife and Scentsy rep ordered her usual tipple.
‘That’s a wee double vodka and blue WKD mixer’, she explained.
‘I don’t wanna be going too mawd coz it’s 6am and we’ve the 8 kids with us’.
Staff were overcome with emotion as they watched Helen take 37 photos of her drink using a rose gold i-Phone 12.
One bar man was reduced to tears – although this may have been because a hen party clutching inflatable dicks arrived and asked for a round of strawberry daquiris.
Meanwhile, it’s understood Helen’s Facebook followers are eagerly anticipating tomorrow’s holiday snaps including a bikini-selfie with a bored 2-year-old boy in inflatable armbands sobbing uncontrollably at her feet.
